Reunion 2006 is over. The general idea now is to continue to share what others have learned about family history on this site. I will continue to work with the family genealogists to report the interesting facts and findings concerning our family history. The forums remain open to all.
The underwhelming response following the reunion leads me to believe that either A) people do not care, or B) people are too timid to share what they know, or C) people do not know how to go about this. I will revise the website to allow for each of these possibilities.
I will soon post the new information coming in from Thom Flory concerning his trip to Switzerland this summer. I will revises several of the forms, to make submitting stories and genealogy facts as simple as possible. Then perhaps we will see some involvement from the rest. If not, then we will see less information, but of higher quality, and that is fine too.
Not to put too fine a point on it, but I cannot just make this stuff up. I need you all to tell your stories. If you do not, then the stories die with the teller, lost to future generations.
